Hi Everybody,

One of the best parts of being an author of books for kids is that I get to visit so many great schools and talk to students about two of my favorite topics: reading and writing!  Recently, I visited Coral Reef Elementary in Miami and spoke to the third-graders there.  What a great group of students who asked awesome questions!  Thanks to all of you and to your fabulous media specialist, Ms. Rivas, for making it such a great day!

Hi Everybody,

Lucky me!  I got to speak at the Broward County Association of Media Specialists (BCAMS) brunch on Saturday.  It was a great day with media specialists from all over Broward County.

I spent the morning yesterday at Coral Park Elementary in Miami, Florida talking to the 3rd and 4th grades.  What a great school with such smart students!
