Hi Everybody,

Thanks for all the great mail lately!  To Anna, Yajaira and Aleeya:  I’m so glad you all like reading about Mallory.  Aleeya asked me some really good questions about where I find my ideas and what inspires me.  The answer is that I love writing about things that happened to me when I was Mallory’s age.  I also like writing about things that happened to my kids when they were Mallory’s age.  And of course, I love making things up! 

I hope you all keep reading about Mallory!

Hi Everybody!

Thanks to all of you who have written in lately!  Special thanks to Aleeya, Maddie, Katherine, Denisse, Naika, Siobhan, Alivia, Anna, Saleema and Scarlett.  I loved all of your great letters and questions.   Here are some answers:

Naika asked where she could get information about me for an author study.  If you look on my blog, there is a section called Laurie’s Book Report Fun Facts.  You will find lots of fun facts there that you can use in your report.

Anna asked how Mallory and Mary Ann became best friends.  The answer is that they lived next door to each other when they were born and they are life long best friends.

Scarlett asked how to find the Mallory website.  Just go to www.mallorymcdonald.com
