My 3rd grade class would love to read your new book. We have read all the other ones. My teacher, Ms. Carlson, reads many different authors to us. You are one of our favorite ones! I like you because the character and me share a name! Please let us be first to enjoy your new book. Thank you for writing books and helping us be better writers also.

Hey Laurie,
Can I plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz have a copy??? The library doesn’t have Mallory Goes Green or Mallory In the Spotlight. I homeschool, though. So what should I do???

I’m a huge fan of your writing, I always look forward to reading a new book! I love,love,love the character Mallory, and my favorite book in the series is ”Happy New Year,Mallory”(I’ve read it three times already)! In my Girl Scouts troop we all have nicknames, and mine is Mallory after my favorite series! I think Mallory is really funny, and I wish she was MY best friend!
I read your blog on a rugular basis. In fact that’s where I read that you’re sending an advance copy of ”Mallory in the Spotlight” to some lucky people. I would be thrilled if I were chosen to be among them! I have written a few books myself, but have never let anyone read them, Perhaps one day I will be brave enough to send one to a publisher, and maybe you’ll read one of my books! That would be cool,cool,cool!

I just started reading your books!They are really good!!!(even though I only read one so far).I think you are a really good author!I really like Mallory’s personality in the books(because I have the same personality as her)!!!!I never even knew these books until now!!!!Now I love them sooooooooo much!!!
P.S.I like that Mallory’s cat is named Cheeseburger.Now that’s an interesting name for a cat!

Hey I bet my classroom would love to read it were probably a class of 13 and I bet 7 of us LOVE,LOVE,LOVE to read them and my teacher would LOVE,LOVELOVE to get a copy!!!! She talks about when she met you at a conference and how nice and pretty you are,she also told us about the letter you wrote to your mom asking to change your name to Lauren!! (I wouldn’t though Laurie is to pretty to be changed)

I am so glad to be able to hear you speak at the Illinois Reading Conference. I bought the 1st to 6th Mallory books. I am hoping to have the 3rd/4th graders use them soon.

Laurie, i am a big fan and i really like your books. My school has the series and I rea them well many people read them and they are funny. P.P.W.A.C.O.T. ( Thats short for PRETTY PLEASE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP) GIVE ME A COPY OF THE NEW BOOK. I would love the book as much as Mallory loves Cheese Burgers.
