Hi Everybody!

My favorite holiday is almost here and I can’t wait!  I hope you’re just as excited as I am about all the costumes and candy!  I’d love to know what you’re dressing up as so please write and tell me!

On the suject of writing, a special thank you to all of you from near and far who have written lately.  To Maria, Laura, Shay, Alice, Saleema (from China!), Mallory, Aileen, Laura, and Chechu (from Argentina!), thanks for all the great letters.

Hi Everybody,

Thanks so much to all of you for all the great mail and for being the world’s best fans!  To Laura, Damaris, Hanna, Phoebe, Nicole, Abbi and Saleema:  Thanks so much for your nice letters!  Abbi, I’m so glad you found my books in the library and and like them!  Some of you asked some really great questions and here are answers:

Laura asked what color nail polish Mallory wears and if she likes to shop.  She loves all nail polish, particularly light blue and purple, and she loves to shop (not that her mother lets her do it very often!)

Damaris asked if I am going to make Mallory get older.  The answer to that is that I am thinking about it.  I’d love to hear what all of you think of the idea.  Would you like to read about Mallory in middle school?  Let me know.

Saleema asked how many Mallory books I’m going to write and the answer to that is lots!  At least 20, maybe more if readers like you keep reading them!
