Hi Everybody!
I hope the school year is off to a great start for all of you and that you are all doing lots of reading! Some of you have written lately with some great questions. Here are some answers:
Brooke asked where I do my writing? The answer is that I do the actual typing at my desk, but I do the thinking about what I’m going to be typing everywhere I go. I think about Mallory while I’m walking my dog, while I’m grocery shopping, and while I’m cooking. I love thinking about Mallory and all the things she and her friends and family are going to be doing in the books.
Laura asked if I can make books using the same characters but for a higher reading level. The answer to that is maybe. I will definitely think about it. If any of you are interested in reading about Mallory as she gets older, just let me know.

hi laura, my name is abbi and im 11 years old. i am just in love with your books even though in ever book that the ages are 7-10
i dont know why though.it all started june of this year,when we went to the public library.it had been like 10 minutes and i still could not find a book. so my mom told me that i needed to hurry up.so basicly i just grabed a book.well it just so happened that it was one of your books…………Back to School Mallory. It was so colorful on the front and so i got it.i ended up reading it in 1 day because i could not seem to put it down.since then i have been reading your books.I just finished Red White And True Blue Mallory.I only have 1 more book to read and i just got that book today and im on page 30…………that book is Mallory on board. So if you dont mind could you write some more books (please tell me your going to write more books,please im begging)

I love the mallory series!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got on board with mallory and happy birthday mallory! Happy birthday mallory is my birthday book. I’ve started reading it and I think its really really good so far! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LAURIE! p.s i am in 4th grade and I absolutly LOVE the mallory series!

HI LAURIE I TOTALLYLOVE YOUR BOOKS.ACTUALLY WHEN I GO TO THE LIBRARY AND SEE NEW BOOK ABOUT MALLORY ME AND MY FRIEND ALWAYS TAKE TURNS TO READ THEM:).I ENJOY READING YOUR BOOKS.SOME OF THEM SEEM TO HAPPEN TO ME WHEN I WAS LITTLE.I WAS HOPING IF YOU CAN WRITE ABOUT A BOOK WHERE MALLORY IS KIND OF MAD BECAUSE MARYANNE DOESN’T WANT TO HANG OUT WITH MALLORY BECAUSE SHE HASA NEW BEST FRIEND BUT AT LAST THEY ALL BECOME FRIENDS AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER

I really like Heart to Heart with Mallory its my favorite so far,
I haven’t read them all.

I love your books about Mallory, my favorite is campfire Mallory. I hope you write more Mallory books. I have read 5 of them already. I would love to read about Mallory as she gets older because she is the same age as me and in 4th grade. How did you think of making Mallory in books was she like you when you were a kid?? Ps i am one of the biggest mallory fan.
