You are the best writers on the planet! To Preet, Hanna, Andie, Mallory, Molly, Noelle, Kyjah, Sophia,Rachel, and Saleema and all the others: Thanks for all the fantastic mail. I’m so glad that so many of you like reading about Mallory. I know you all have lots of questions so let’s see if I can answer some of them.
Hannah asked if I made up the recipe for bannana boats in Campfire Mallory. I wish I had. I love them! But I learned about Bannana Boats at the summer camp that I went to, Camp Birch Trail. They were my favorite campfire treat. I’m so glad you like them too.
Andie and Molly asked if I am writing more books and the answer is yes! Two Mallory books are coming out this year. Red, White, and True Blue Mallory and Happy New Year, Mallory! I hope you will read them both.
Mallory asked if Mallory (in the book) gets glasses or a cast? It’s a possibility on both. Keep reading! I will tell you that something along those lines happens to Mallory in Happy New Year, Mallory!
Noelle wanted to know what inpired me to write about Mallory and all of her problems. I write about a lot of things that happened to me when I was Mallory’s age. I also write about things I see happening to kids today. And of course, I like to make stuff up too!
Sophia wanted to know the title of the next book which is Happy New Year, Mallory!
Rachel wrote to tell me that she likes the idea of reading about an older Mallory. Rachel, thanks so much for letting me know!
