Hi Everybody!
Actually, lots of you are great writers! Thanks to all of you who have written lately including Mallory, Evvie, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Karen, Rachel, Ashley, Kyjah, Megan, Meghan, Naima, Charlena, Bethany and Georgie.
You all have so many great comments and asked loads of good questions.
One thing a lot of you have asked is what the next Mallory book is that is coming out. A new Mallory book just came out and it is called Red, White, and True Blue Mallory. It is all about Mallory’s class trip to Washington, D.C. Another book is coming out later this year and it is called Happy New Year, Mallory! Mallory has a winter reunion with all of her camp friends and they celebrate the New Year together. I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that nothing goes quite the way Mallory planned.
A lot of you also asked if I am planning to write more Mallory books and the answer to that is YES! I love writing about Mallory.

Dear Ms. Friedman,
I am SO excited that there are more Mallory books! Mallory books are my favorite books to read because they’re so interesting. I like reading about what Mallory plans, and what really happens. I’m always trying to picture what her house really looks like. Will you please include an illustration of what her house looks like in your next book? (Happy New Year Mallory!) My favorite Mallory book is Step Forth, Mallory because it’s really weird how she keeps breaking the rules on accident. And it’s fun that Mary Ann sits next to Mallory because I know they’re best friends from all the books I read. I wish I could sit next to my best friend!

To Anindita: I am so glad you and Amanda and Jenna are fans. I would love to make a Mallory movie. What fun that would be!
To Amanda: That is a tough question. I like them all!
To Marni; I am so glad you like the books. I will try to include an illustration of Mallory’s house in one of the books.
To Victoria: I am thinking about writing a series about Winnie. Would you like to read more about her?
To Molly: I am always thinking up new ideas for Mallory. She is a lot of fun to think about.

hi laurie im a biggest fan of your books as soon as i stared reading them i know that this was what kinda books i was looking for with pictures and chapters and the most favourite part of it is the table of chapters are full like things cut out of magazines.anyway i really love ur books!and good luck in the future please write more mallory books i love them and keep it up!!

I love your books! I love it when mallory goes on trips especially when
Mary ann comes I am wondering if you can write a book were
all the parents go on a trip without the kids so mallory mary ann and joey
also winnie and max have to go to mallorys grandma and grampa’s
house for a week! By the way every time i go to the library i get like 4

dear laurie,i am a huge fan of Mallory books but you never numbered the series so its confusing to read a book like mallory on board when you have to read heart to heart with mallory first so its so confusing to read a book and do not know what to read first like when mallory moves. Please make a mallory movie i want to see one so bad please tell me what books come first but its going to be confusing because i already read mallory on the move,heart to heart to mallory and i am reading mallory on board now please make a movie!!!!! write back soon thanks jacqui
