Fun at Barnes & Noble

Hi Everbody,

I hope you are all getting ready for a fun holiday season!

Special thanks goes to everyone at the Nativity School in Hollywood, FL who came to Barnes & Noble for the pajama party.  It was so much fun seeing all of you!  I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did and that you all have fun reading the Mallory books you bought.

Talk to you soon!

    Dear Laurie Friedman,
My teacher told my class that if we e-mail an author and they e-mail back we will get extra credit! Since you are one of my all time favorite authors I felt that I will e-mail you. I have a few questions for you about the first Heart to Heart with Mallory. First off why did you decide to make the book read like a journal? Did some of the things that hapened to Mallory happen to you? Are you thinking about making anothor series other than Mallory? I hope you had a very happy and healthy New Year!

Hi Mallory: The newest book that is out is called Red, White and True Blue Mallory. It is about Mallory’s class trip to Washington, D.C. I hope you’ll read it.

Hi Kylie: I am writing Mallory and Mary Ann right now. It is all about their friendship . . . what goes right and what goes wrong.

    Dear Becca,
Thanks for writing. I’m so glad you did and I hope you get extra credit for it. You asked some great questions. Here are some answers: I wrote Heart to Heart with Mallory like a journal because I used to keep a journal when I was Mallory’s age. While most of the things that happened to Mallory didn’t actually happen to me, the tone of Mallory’s journal sounds a lot like mine. I am thinking about writing another series when I’m done with the Mallory books. Thanks again for writing and Happy New Year to you as well!
