Hi Everybody,

Most of you know about me because you read the Mallory books.  I’m thrilled that you like reading about Mallory.  I have a new book called Angel Girl which I hope you will all read as well.

Angel Girl is based on a miraculous true story about a young boy who was a prisoner in a labor camp during World War II.   He was forced to work long hours and was given almost no food. 

One day, he sees a girl outside the fence of the labor camp and she gives him an apple.  She comes back to the fence every day while he is in the camp, and even though it is very dangerous, she continues to bring him food. 

When the war is over, he tells her that she is his Angel Girl.  They leave, never even exchanging names.  Miraculously, they meet 15 years later on a blind date.  If you want to find out what happens to them, you will have to read the book.

Hi Everybody!

I hope you’re all having a super summer.  Unfortunately, it is quickly coming to an end.  It is almost time to start back to school shopping. 

I think certain back-to-school items are a lot of fun to buy . . . like notebooks and backpacks and shoes.  What are your favorites?  Mallory definitely likes shoes (and if you’re wondering what I mean, be sure to read all about it in Step Fourth, Mallory!)
