Thanks for all the great mail you’ve been sending lately. Don’t forget that when you write to me, I put your letters on the blog. Be sure to look and you can see yourself in print! Sometimes, it takes a few days, so please be patient.
A lot of you have been asking what the newest Mallory book is. It’s called Step Fourth, Mallory. It’s all about Mallory’s adventures in fourth grade. There will be lots more books about Mallory as a fourth grader and I hope you’ll read them all.

Hi, I was on Amazon.com, looking up the Mallory books, and I saw a book entitled Red, White, and True Blue Mallory. The publishing was listed as April 2008. Is this a real book, or not? It had you as the author, and Jennifer Kalis as the illustrator. If this is a real book, can you tell me what it’s about? Reply soon, please!

Thanks for writing! There is a book called Red, White and True Blue Mallory. It is all about Mallory’s class trip to Washington, D.C. I hope you’ll read it!

Hi, I just got back from Summer camp. The day after I did I went to my Library and found a new book they just got. It was called Campfire Mallory! My name is Mallory and I had read every book in your series and I was so excited to read this one! I had so much in commen with this book! Then the next day I found out you had a new book called Step-Fourth Mallory, and I am so, so, so excited to read it! I just wanted to know if you planned on writing more Mallory books?

thanks for writing! I hope you had a great summer at camp! I’m so glad you like reading about Mallory. To answer your question . . yes! I am planning to write lots more Mallory books aobut her year in 4th grade. Stay on the lookout. Another one is coming out soon.
