Hi Everybody!
I want to thank all of you for writing in. I’ve gotten so many letters filled with great ideas, questions, and comments. Lots of you have told me your ideas for Mallory and some of you have even asked if I can write a book with you. Unfortunately, I can’t do that but you all have such great ideas, I think if you are interested in writing a book, you should do it. There’s no time like the present to get started! Maybe it is something you can work on over the summer.
A special thanks to Rachel in Singapore. I’ve gotten letters from all over but never one from that far away. I’m so glad you like the books and thanks again for taking the time to write.

Hi Everybody!
So many of you have been writing in with so many good questions and here are some answers.
Payjeeb is doing a book report and asked if I could provide some personal information for her report. Payjeeb, I hope this helps!
I was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I grew up in Arkansas and from there I lived in a lot of great places including New Orleans, Paris, Houston, and New York City. I now live in Miami (which I love!) with my family and my dog (a fluffy white bichon) Ollie. I love to run, cook, see movies with my kids, read, and write.
Rachel wrote to ask me how many Mallory books there will be? The answer to that question is 16. So far, there are 9 books that are out and book #10 is coming out this fall. It is called Step Fourth, Mallory. Mallory is going to 4th grade! There are lots of fun things in store for her and I hope you’ll all keep reading!
